Permissions

Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.

In order to add Equipment, users will need Create permissions for Equipment


Adding Equipment on SiteMax Mobile

Adding new Equipment can easily be done on the mobile app.

  1. Start by clicking "+ Add" on the main Home page

  2. Select "Equipment" from the Add screen

  3. Select "+ Add Equipment" from the options

  4. An Equipment Profile screen will appear where you can enter all of your equipment details

  5. Click "Save" to save your new equipment

Creating New Equipment with a QR Code

If you scan a new or unfamiliar QR Code, the system will ask if you would like to create your new tool

  1. From the main Home page, click "+ Add"

  2. Select "Equipment" in your Add screen

  3. Select "Scan Equipment" from the options

  4. If the code is not yet associated with a piece of equipment, the following message will appear:

  5. Click "Create" and you can now add your new Equipment

Equipment Reports

Once you have saved your new Equipment, two new tabs will appear; "Reports" and "Attachments"

  1. To add a new Equipment report, open the Reports tab

  2. Select the Form Template from the options

  3. Click on the 3 dots at the top right of the screen

  4. Select "+ Create Form"

Your form template will open, allowing you to create and save it

Note; If you want to create your form with a different Assigned Date, select "Create Form by Date" and you will be able to enter the preferred Assigned Date for your form.

Quick Add Report to Equipment

You can quickly add a new Equipment Report directly from your main Home screen

  1. Click "+ Add"

  2. Choose "Equipment" from your Add screen

  3. Select "Add Report" from the options

  4. A new screen will appear allowing you to select the tool for which you want to add your report, or you can scan the QR code for the tool by clicking on the QR Code icon at the top right of your tools list

  5. Next, select from your Form Templates

  6. Fill out your report and Save

Adding Attachments to your Equipment

Under the "Attachments" tab, you can add equipment manuals, certifications, or any other documentation you might need.

  1. Click "Add Attachments"

  2. You will be directed to your mobile device's downloads where you can select your documents

Note; Documents can easily be removed by clicking on the "x" beside the attachment.

Moving Equipment on SiteMax Mobile

Move your Equipment to different projects, users, toolboxes or to your toolshed with mobile

  1. In the Home screen, press the four horizontal lines at the top right corner or swipe from right to left to access the sidebar menu.

  2. Choose "Equipment"

  3. From there, click the three dots in the top right corner to access the equipment options.

  4. Select "Move Tools"

  5. Then, select all the tools you want to move and click "Move All"

  6. Choose the Location (ie; Project, User, Toolbox, Toolshed)

  7. Select which Project, User, or Toolbox you wish to move your Equipment to

  8. Click "Save"

Moving Equipment with QR Code

Using QR codes is an efficient way to move equipment across Projects.

  1. On the dashboard click "+ Add"

  2. Select "Equipment" in the Add screen

  3. Choose "Move Equipment (Scan Multiple)"

  4. Scan each QR code associated with a tool

  5. Choose the Location or Project you would like to move your tools to.
    ​
