Permissions
Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.
In order to move Equipment, users will need Edit permissions for Equipment
Whether you're handling a single piece of equipment or multiple pieces of equipment, SiteMax Systems provides an intuitive solution. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to effortlessly assign equipment to your projects.
Accessing the Equipment Module
Once in the Equipment module, you can manage its location and assign it to your selected Projects. This can be done two ways:

Click on the specific equipment you want to assign to a project.
A pop-up called "Equipment Detail" will appear.
In the "Location" section, check "Project."
Click inside the Project field to receive a dropdown menu of your projects as seen below. Select the project where you want the equipment to be moved.
Click "Save" to set your equipment's new location in place

If you have a list of equipment you know you want to assign to a project, you can do this all at once with your Actions menu
In the "Main List" tab, check the boxes next to the equipment you want to move to a project.
After selecting, click on the Actions menu
From the dropdown, choose "Move"
The "Move Tools" pop-up will appear.
Set the location to "Project" and choose the desired project from the dropdown.
Click "Move" to complete the assignment
Note; Regardless of the method you choose, the Main List tab will still provide you with the list of all Company Equipment
The Equipment module within the chosen project will list all equipment assigned to that project
