Effectively manage incidents, risks, hazards, controls, inspections, emergency drills, and maintenance—all within an organized and structured system. Safety Log Types ensure that critical safety records are systematically categorized, searchable, and readily available for reporting and audits.

Understanding the Safety Log Types

Each Safety Log Type is designed to align with your safety processes and workflows, capturing the specific data needed for compliance and reporting. Log configurations can be customized using Safety Attributes to match your unique needs.

What differentiates each Safety Log is the Type and the specific data it captures.

  • Risk Logs – Record potential risks on the job site, including likelihood, potential impact, and current status.

  • Hazard Logs – Identify hazards and document control measures or decisions made to prevent associated risks or incidents.

  • Control Logs – Track mitigation measures, tools used, and individuals involved. Establish oversight by documenting processes and monitoring their status.

  • Incident Logs – Log all incidents that occur on a job site. Capture relevant details to analyze trends related to trades, equipment, projects, and workers, helping to identify root causes and improve safety measures.

  • Emergency Drills Logs – Document emergency drills, assess team responses and evaluate the effectiveness of your Emergency Response Plan for continuous improvement.

  • Maintenance Logs – Record safety inspections and maintenance activities for equipment, ensuring quick access to essential data for oversight and compliance.

Establish relationships between logs using the Linked Log field. Connect controls to hazards or risks, or incidents to related risks or controls, to improve traceability and accountability.

By capturing and centralizing essential safety data, Safety Logs support Safety Officers and Managers in quickly identifying trends, mitigating risks, and taking proactive measures.
