A Safety Attribute functions like a Custom Field, allowing you to define and capture specific data within a log. With Safety Attributes, you can name each field and provide a predefined list of selectable options, ensuring accuracy in safety reporting. Customize Safety Attributes based on the Safety Log Type to ensure you capture the exact information needed for each entry.
Create a Safety Attribute
To create a Safety Attribute, follow these steps:
Navigate to Company Settings > Safety Program > Safety Logs.
Click on the Add Safety Attribute button.
Enter a Name for the attribute to prompt users with a specific question.
If you want to ask users whether follow-up is needed for a log, name the attribute "Follow-up needed?"
Enter the response options users will select from when creating a log. You can add as many options as needed. For a yes/no question, add the values "Yes" and "No".
βSelect the log types where this attribute should appear. For example, if the question should be included in inspections, maintenance logs, and emergency drills, keep these log types in the Included column.
Use the arrows to move any log types to the Excluded column if they should not have this attribute.Click Save to apply the attribute. The attribute will now be available when the selected log types are created in the Safety Log.
