How to Remove People from SiteMax?

If you need to remove a team member from SiteMax, you can do so by blocking them in the Team module. This will prevent them from accessing any projects or data within your organization's SiteMax account. Here's how:


Dashboard > Team > Users


Permissions

Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.

In order to block users, users will need Manage permissions for Users


  1. Log in to your SiteMax account and navigate to "Team."

  2. Find the team member you want to remove and click on their name to open their profile.

  3. Click on the "Actions" button in the upper right corner of the profile window.

  4. Select "Block User" from the drop-down menu.

The user will now be blocked and will no longer have access to any projects or data within your SiteMax account. If you need to re-hire them in the future, you can simply unblock them by using your filters and selecting "Blocked" in the Status field and then follow the same steps above and selecting "Unblock User" instead of "Block User."

NOTE: When you block a user in SiteMax, their account is not completely deleted. This is to ensure the integrity and security of your data. However, you can edit the details of the blocked user, such as adding fake emails and phone numbers. It is recommended to keep a record of the blocked user's identity for reference purposes.
