The Punch List module is a valuable tool for ensuring that construction projects meet the necessary standards and are ready for handover. It provides a systematic and organized way to document and communicate any outstanding work items or issues that need to be resolved.

What is a Punch List?

A project's Punch List is typically created collaboratively by the project team, including the contractor, architect, engineers, and client representatives.

Punch Lists capture all the items that require attention, such as incomplete work, incorrect installations, cosmetic defects, equipment malfunctions, or any other areas that do not meet the specified requirements. Each item on the punch list should be clearly described, including its location, description of the issue, and any relevant reference documents or drawings. This documentation helps in understanding and resolving the identified issues.

Punch List on Mobile

Using the SiteMax app for Punch List allows users to capture and quickly create lists that can then be ordered, filtered and shared with all parties.

Users can reference project locations, drawings, documents, existing contacts or companies and existing punch items in SiteMax to compile information quickly.

Existing lists can be imported and templates can be used to create a batch of items in a few seconds.

Punch List Reports

Customizable reports can be templated and fields can be included or excluded by Phase. Automate Punch List notifications and report distribution to provide tracking of items from construction to the warranty period.
