SiteMax is proud to announce its new file management system, designed to enable users to efficiently organize, manage, and access a wide range of files within Site Control, the central hub for construction management.

Site Control will introduce an advanced File Management system, providing an alternative to platforms like OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox.

With SiteMax’s Documents, you can now:

  • Create, Edit, and organize files: Users can create folders, move files, and rename them for better organization.

  • Search and filter: Find files by name, modified date, or other metadata quickly.

  • Version control: Keeps track of file history and revert to previous versions when needed.

  • File Sharing: Invite anyone to view and access your files via email or phone number.

  • User permissions and access control: Set permissions for who can view, edit, or delete files.

  • Automatic backups: Backup all your SMX3 files, documents, reports, and photos in SiteMax Documents

What's Next?

Site Control's File Management system will soon become available to all users. Site Control will replace the Documents module at the project and company levels. Clicking on the Documents module will direct users to the Site Control web and mobile interfaces.

Backup PDFs and Images from SiteMax modules to seamlessly store, manage, and access all documents and media in a centralized location. This capability will ensure that critical project files across different modules—whether from inspections, reports, drawings, or submittals—are automatically backed up and securely stored within Site Control’s platform.
