SiteMax is excited to introduce our new application interface, which will soon replace the current model. We believe Site Control will be a game-changer for our clients and users, transforming into the central hub for site operations and technology. With its advanced capabilities, Site Control will redefine construction project management, providing construction companies with a unified platform to access all company data.
Site Control will introduce an advanced File Management system, providing an alternative to platforms like OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox. We’re also launching a new Schedule module with Gantt, calendar, and board views, giving a complete company overview of projects and enabling efficient project schedule management. In addition, our new Dashboard module will offer powerful reporting capabilities with customizable widgets and report-building features.
Additionally, we’re introducing advanced Drawing Control capabilities, which will leverage new technology advancements, ensure robust version control, and seamlessly integrate with all Site Control modules.
SiteMax will be launching Site Control through staged releases (Beta, MVP, and Global releases), as detailed in our roadmap.
What is the difference between a Beta launch, MVP release, and Global Availability?
The Beta launch will be used to test Site Control with a select group of clients before it is fully released. It will help us gain feedback, identify bugs, and make improvements. We are allowing you to learn and try the new interface with us.
The MVP (Minimum Viable Product) release provides the core features needed to address the primary needs of users. For this release, we will include clients who are early adopters and have an expressed need for Site Control features.
Global Availability is the full public release of a product when it is ready for widespread use and fully supported. We will make a formal announcement to all users before and when each Site Control module is globally available.

Schedule Items, Timeline, and Calendar Beta Launch
November 2024
What to expect? | Schedule Items, Timeline, and Calendar
What to expect? | Schedule Items, Timeline, and Calendar
We are introducing the concept of Scheduled Items, which include both Phases and Work Items. With Scheduled Items, you will be able to create a project timeline and monitor the real-time progress of project tasks using a Gnatt chart view.
Initially, we will introduce the Master Schedule timeline, offering a high-level overview of all active project schedules, with a focus on project Phases and Work Items that contribute to the overall project timeline. SiteMax users will also be included as resources within your Scheduled Items. They will be able to update tasks, report their progress, and log hours for each task, ensuring contributions to the overall project timeline and helping to keep everything on track.
Users can access the Master Schedule through both the Timeline and Calendar views. The Timeline view provides a high-level overview of Project Phases, Work Items, and Tasks, giving a clear picture of all projects. This is especially useful for project owners, senior management, and stakeholders who need to understand the overall timelines of active projects.
The Timeline and Calendar views offer flexible options for viewing project Work Items on daily, weekly, or monthly schedules. These views are ideal for project managers and site supervisors who depend on the project schedule to coordinate and track daily activities.
For team members, the List and Board views will simplify the management of assigned tasks. The List view organizes tasks by date, while the Board view offers an intuitive way to track task progress from start to completion. Alongside the Calendar view, these new tools will make task management easier than ever for your team and tradespeople.
