Permissions
Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.
In order to manage (ie; Add files or folders) the Safety Program, users will need Edit permissions for Settings
In order to access or view documents added to your Safety Manual in the Safety Program under your Safety Reports, users will need View permissions for any selected Safety Report or Company Documents
This article will walk you through all you need to know about Safety Program and how to access it in SiteMax.
What's Inside the Safety Program?
Your Safety Program contains two tabs;
1. Safety Manual which houses essential written records and information that outline the safety procedures, guidelines, policies, and practices implemented by your company. Basically, it's like the ultimate guidebook to ensuring the protection of both employees and assets.
2. Safety Logs which helps you manage all the Safety Attributes for your different Types of Safety Logs. Under this tab, you can edit existing or create your Safety Attributes.
Finding and Uploading Safety Manual Files
You can manage your Safety Manual three ways;
Safety Reports of a Project: You can find the Safety Programs is within the Safety Reports of a specific Project.
Company Settings: Another spot to find Safety Program is right in your Company Settings. Just head over to the Settings module from the dashboard and look for "Safety Program" and select the "Safety Manual" tab.
Company Documents: Lastly, you can also find the Safety Programs in the Documents module from the dashboard, then locate the "safety-manual" folder.
Safety Logs
Under the Safety Logs tab in your Safety Program, you can manage and create your own Safety Log Attributes. For more information on Safety Attributes, check out our article here.
To create a Safety Attribute
Click "Add Safety Attribute"
Enter the title of the attribute in the field provided
Add the options you want to include in the attribute
Select the Type of Log you want included with your attributes
Click "Add" to save your new attribute
Remember: the specific actions you can take within the Safety Programs depend on the permissions granted to you by your administrator.
For instance, you might be able to view the files but not have the button to upload new ones because of the permissions granted to you.
