Bulk Editing Projects in Dashboard

Add Tags, update your Start/End dates, adjust your Geo-fence, etc., to multiple projects at once.

Permissions

Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.

In order to Bulk Edit projects, users will need Edit permissions for Projects and/or Projects (assigned)


Make edits to your projects quickly and efficiently with our Bulk Edit function in the Actions menu on your Dashboard.

To start, your Dashboard view should be set for either the List or People view.

Next, select the Projects you wish to edit by checking the boxes beside each one. (Note; Select ALL Projects by checking the box above them)

Once selected, open the Actions dropdown and select "Bulk Edit"

Your Bulk Edit options will appear on a new pop up screen

*Note; the number in brackets denotes the number of Projects selected


Bulk Edit Options

Tags

Add one or multiple Tags to your projects.

  1. Check the box beside the "Tags" option

  2. Click inside the Tags field to display your list of Project tags, and select the Tags you want to apply to your chosen projects

  3. Click "Save"

Start/End Dates

Adjust either the Start or End dates (or both) of your projects.

  1. Check the box beside the Start or End Date options

  2. Enter the new date(s) in the field(s) provided

  3. Click "Save"

Geo-fence Radius

Adjust the radius of your Geo-fence for certain projects.

  1. Check the box beside the Geo-fence Radius field

  2. Choose the radius you want from the drop down

  3. Click "Save" to save your changes

Office Manager

Assign your Office Managers to multiple projects at once.

  1. Check the box beside the Office Manager field

  2. Click in the field to bring up your list of users

  3. Select your new Office Manager

  4. Click "Save" to set your changes

Field manager

Assign your Field Managers for multiple projects

  1. Check the box beside the Field Manager field

  2. Click inside the field to bring up your list of users

  3. Select your new Field Manager

  4. Click "Save" to save your assignment

Status

Complete or set Active multiple projects at one time with the Status field in Bulk Edit

  1. Check the box beside the Status field

  2. Select from the Status options

  3. Click "Save" to update your Status
