Permissions

Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project materials. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.

In order to set the Geo-Fence radius, users will need Edit permissions for either Projects or Projects (assigned)

This feature enables you to establish a Geo-Fence around your project's location. Essentially, this means that if a user checks in outside of the set geo-fence, it will be flagged as an alert.

  1. From the Dashboard, select the desired project for which you want to set the geo-fence. Once you have selected the project, go to the project settings.

  2. Within the project settings, locate the "Info" tab. Scroll down or navigate to the "Geo-fence" section.

  3. In the "Geo-fence" section, you will see a radius setting that allows you to define the size of the geo-fence. Click on the field provided and select a value between 100 meters and 50 kilometres. This radius will determine the distance from the project location within which the geofence will be active.

Note: Once the Geo-fence is set for a project, the system will track the location of users within the defined radius. This enables you to monitor attendance, track time and attendance, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
