Permissions

Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access Project and Company data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.

In order to view the geo-fence status of your Time Center and/or Timecards, user will need View permissions for Timecenter and/or Timecards

To enhance monitoring of the Geo-Fence for time entries within Timecenter or Timecards, we have included the Geo-Fence Icon status in the system.

First, it is important to understand that the icons will appear on Timecenter or Timecards in list view (As shown below).

Check the "Status" column, and you will find different icons. For the Geo-Fence, here's what they mean:

  1. Green Globe: Check-in/out entries recorded inside the geofence.

  2. Black Globe (no fill): Manual entries (created by or for the user) with no geolocation recorded. Check-In/Out entries are logged at a time different from the actual start or end.

  3. Red Globe: Check-in/out entries with geolocation recorded outside the geofence.

  4. Black Globe (filled): Check-in/out entries with no geolocation recorded.
