Permissions

Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.

In order to manage a form's location, users will need Edit permissions for Settings.

Forms can be managed as reports in four different locations based on the context of that form: Project Site Reports, Project Safety Reports, Equipment Reports, and Company Reports.

Managing Forms

To move a form to one of these locations you will begin in the Company's Settings.

From Settings > Modules, click the Forms tab to view all Form Builder Forms. Then click on the three dots in the form's tool bar, as shown below, to choose the location, manage settings, or see any revisions.

When in a project, click on your desired location (ie; Site Reports/Safety Reports) and you will be able to view your forms as seen below:

To view your Equipment reports, you must first open the Equipment module within your Project.

Show forms in Equipment Reports.

Company reports will show on your main Dashboard, rather than a specified project.

Note:

  1. If a form template has been added to a Project's Notice Board, the form template cannot be moved to a new location.

For example: If a form template is living in Safety Reports and has been added to a notice board, moving the template to Site Reports will remove it from the project's notice board and may confuse the onsite team. This error message will be displayed to caution users about moving locations of forms.

2. It's important to note that when you specify the location of forms, they won't become visible to users automatically. They will only be visible once you grant permission. This is done to ensure that the data remains secure. You can find further details in this article: Form Visibility
