Drawings Overview
Uploading drawings to SiteMax is a breeze, and our system leverages Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to automatically assign numbers to PDF files. This streamlines the process of organizing and referencing drawings, saving you time and effort.
SiteMax offers multiple options to help you organize your drawings effectively. You can choose between viewing your drawings in a list or a grid format to suit your preference. Folders allow you to categorize drawings based on projects, departments, or any other classification that fits your workflow. Tags provide additional metadata to label and filter drawings based on specific criteria. The versions feature tracks the evolution of drawings, enabling you to easily access and compare different iterations. Additionally, the numbering system ensures proper sequencing of drawings and recognizes both numerical and alphabetical ordering. If two drawings in the same folder share the same number, they will be differentiated as different versions, facilitating accurate documentation.
The mark up feature for SiteMax Power Plans empowers you to annotate and add relevant information to your drawings. Whether it's adding lines, text, shapes, or attaching RFIs, Punch items, or Tasks, you can easily highlight and indicate specific areas or instructions within your drawings. This facilitates collaboration, communication, and ensures everyone involved has clear visual references.
When needed, you can export your drawings to PDF format directly from SiteMax. The export feature allows you to include your mark up information, ensuring that your annotations and added details are preserved and shared with others seamlessly.
Effortlessly manage your drawing files, locate specific drawings, and collaborate effectively using the powerful organizational and mark up capabilities of SiteMax's Drawings feature. By utilizing the various tools and features available, you can enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and maintain a centralized repository for all your important drawings.
