Question:
Why is the print quality of the drawings low?
Answer:
There are a couple of reasons why the print quality is reduced in SiteMax.
Our drawings are specifically optimized to look their absolute best on mobile devices. This ensures that you have the smoothest experience when viewing them on screens of various sizes. However, when it comes to printing, there might be a noticeable difference. If you're looking to print a drawing, we recommend using the original version. Just keep in mind that this version won't include any mark-ups or annotations.
In order to allow for quicker loading when viewing Drawings onsite, the PDF files are turned into large scale images. This prevents the system from getting stuck on loading your Drawing, and allows easy access.
Additionally, we'd like to mention a little tip when it comes to uploading files for drawings. Please avoid uploading compressed files. Instead, opt for the original SOS file. We've already implemented compression during the upload process, and using the original file will help maintain the quality and prevent any degradation during the process.
