Selecting drawings that are needed for export. Downloading drawings from folders.

Permissions

Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.

In order to Export Drawings, users will need View permissions for Drawings


This guide will walk you through the process of exporting drawings in SiteMax, enabling you to conveniently access and distribute your project drawings.

How can I export drawings?

Begin by selecting a project and clicking the "Drawings" module from the sidebar menu.

1. Selecting Drawings for Export

  • Review the list of drawings and identify the ones you want to export.

  • You can select multiple drawings by checking the boxes next to their numbers or choose individual drawings.

2. Initiating the Export

  • Once you have selected the desired drawings, click on the "Export Drawings" option from the Actions menu.

  • A pop up will appear where you can customize the PDF you will be sharing
    ​

3. Exporting Drawings

  • SiteMax offers three methods for exporting drawings:

    • Downloading

      • To download a drawing individually, locate the download button associated with each drawing in your Export screen and click on it. Or Click on "Download All" to download all selected drawings

      • The drawing will be saved to your device's default download location.

    • Using URLs

      • Locate the drawing you wish to export and copy the provided URL associated with it. (This URL can be shared with others, allowing them to access the drawing directly)

    • Exporting via Email

      • If you wish to share 4 or more drawings with your team, you can email them the links directly

        • Select the drawings you want to export

        • Click on the "Actions" dropdown and select "Export Drawings"

        • Select the Contacts and/or Users to whom you want to email your drawings
          ​

Note: It is recommended to keep your drawings organized in folders. By organizing your drawings, you can easily locate and export the desired files when needed.
