Material lists can be made available in forms to also pull from inventory (on Web + Mobile)
You can report on materials and labor with the new time center for costing, etc (on Web)
For actions like exporting reports or deleting items, you will need to perform this on the web version and have the corresponding permissions. If you cannot perform an action, check with the admin at your company or reach out to the support team.
Creating Materials on Mobile
This function will create materials for your team to use/access in other parts of the app. Start by clicking +Add > Material > Add Material
Editing Materials
A Material item's details can be edited from mobile. This could be for either fixing an error, adding inventory, or adding a QR code to your items while you are out in the field.
Navigate to your Mobile Menu, click Material, then select the desired Material, Edit Material's details, and click Save.
Moving Materials
Your materials can be assigned to a project or user. This is another way of tracking your usage if you don't use materials alongside our time module.
In Materials, click on the three-dot menu in the upper right-hand corner. You will be given the option to Move to a Project. Once clicked on, select the Material you would like to move and hit Move Project. You will be directed to the Material's details where you can Add a Material Log in a specified project. Select Save when complete.
Tagging
Tagging is a way to sort and filter your materials. By creating a tag on mobile, you can use it to filter materials for both web and mobile.
To add a Tag start by locating your Materials, selecting the chosen Material, selecting from predetermined tags or creating your own under Tags. When finished hit Save and Close.
Searching/Filtering
You can use the Search Field to locate Materials by typing the name of the material you are looking for. To filter materials by Cost Code, Tags, or Unit of Measure, click on the Filter icon beside the magnifying glass.
Scanning
You can use QR codes to add materials to your system from the main screen.
When you are in a project, you can use scanning to show that a material has been used and it will be pulled from your inventory.
To do this, click +Add from the Home screen, then Materials, and Scan Material. The Scan QR Code will open up your camera and auto-generate the Material's details.
