Permissions
Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.
In order to add Materials Logs to Projects, users will need Edit permissions for Materials
Tracking your disposable materials has never been easier. Keep a record of your materials inventory as a company and track how much is being used on each project.
Allow users to indicate what materials they are using while they track their own time.
Add Materials Logs to Projects
I. Add materials logs in Materials module
Select the material you wish to add logs for in your Materials module.
Click on "Add Log to Project" from the Actions dropdown
โA new window will appear. Here you will enter the Project you wish to add your Material log to, as well as the quantity. If you like, you can add more materials and/or include any tags necessary.

Once the materials logs have been assigned to a project, the equivalent quantity will be automatically deducted from the total quantity of materials at the company level.
II. Add materials logs in Time Center
Dashboard > Time Center > Material
From the Web, you can use the Material tab of our Time Center to add logs directly to a project.
Viewing Assigned Materials
I. View in a Project
View materials that have been moved to the project by following the steps below:
Dashboard > Project (the project that you assigned the materials to) > Materials
II. View in a Time Center
You can also view materials as they have been assigned to users within Time Center.
From Time Center, you can view Materials used based on pay periods, the users to whom the materials were assigned, the projects that the materials were used by, and the ability to create custom reports for materials to streamline your workflow.
Follow the steps below to see materials in your Time Centre:
