Storing project and company documents on SiteMax makes it easy for users to access any files they need directly from the mobile app! These documents can be stored directly in the project or at the company level.
Accessing Project Documents
To access documents in a project on mobile you can locate the Folder Icon in the Project Slider as shown below:
Alternatively, you can find project documents by clicking on the project, then locating the Documents module in the project sidebar:
In Documents, you will find your two tabs: Cloud and On Device. Cloud documents are documents stored in the SiteMax Cloud that can be accessed from any device with a connection to a strong network.
On Device documents are those stored in your mobile storage. This allows for access to files and uploads without any internet connection needed.
Uploading Project Documents
To upload documents, click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner. You will be given the options: Add Folder, Add Document, Delete Documents, Take Photo/Video, and Add from Device Library.
Uploading Company Documents
To access Company Documents on mobile, simply open up the sidebar menu and click on Documents. Again you will see the Cloud and On Device tabs. To add documents to the Company Documents Cloud, click the three-dot menu to Add Folder, Add Document, Take Photo/Video from your mobile device, or Add Photos from your Device's Library.
Using documents is an easy way to centralize all project or company files, reports, and documents in one place! Users can access shared documents directly from their devices and access files without network connections.
