Team Module
Efficient User and Contact Management with Crews
We've introduced new features to help you manage users and contacts more efficiently in projects. Now, with crews, you can easily add or remove users and contacts from projects in bulk. This makes it simpler to organize your team for each job.
When you navigate to the Team module, go to the Crew tab and select a crew, you'll notice new options In the "Actions" drop-down menu. These added options are based on the type of crew you select.
If the crew is "Internal," meaning they are SiteMax users, you'll see new options:
Add Crew to Project Team
Remove Crew from Project Team.
If the crew is "External," meaning they are not SiteMax users, you'll find new options:
Add Crew to Project Contacts
Remove Crew from Project Contacts.
These options make it easier to manage your project teams and contacts efficiently.
Enhanced Contact Update Process
In the contacts section, we've enhanced the update process for contacts that don't have an address but are associated with a company that does have an address on file. Now, when you open a contact and click "Save," we've added a message to confirm if you'd like to update the contact's address with the company's information. This change is designed to simplify the process for users (usually admins) to update contact addresses, especially when the address matches that of their company.
Time Module
Improved Time Report Display
Previously, time reports displayed user time entries in the order they were entered. Now, by default, time entries are arranged based on when users check in. This change is meant to make the view neater and navigation easier.
Simplified Time Entry with Crews
When you're adding time entries for multiple people at once (Time Center or Timecards), we've made the process simpler with crews. Now, when you're creating time, you'll see an "add crew (multiple user icon)" button next to the "User" section.
This button allows you to quickly add all users in that crew directly to your time entry creation interface. Create your crews today!
Tasks Module
Logical Task Completion Notifications
When tasks are completed, the user who completed the task receives a notification. We've updated this process to make it more logical. Now, when a task is completed, only the users who created the task and the user assigned to the task (assignee) will receive the notification. The notification will be formatted like this: "[Task name] on [Task list name] [project number] [project name] completed by [user name]."
Submittals Module
Customizable Submittals
We've made an update to the Submittals module to better fit your workflow and company requirements. Now, you can customize what visible information to see or fill up when your users create submittals.
Also, you can manage what sections appear when exporting PDFs This new feature can be managed through the company settings in the newly added Submittals tab.
Improved PDF Export for Submittals Log
We've made improvements to the PDF export feature for the submittals log. Now, when you export to PDF, it follows the same order as displayed on your screen. This means that the arrangement of items in the PDF matches the order you see in the table of the Submittals module. To organize your screen, simply use the column headers. When you select your submittal and export your logs to PDF, the order you see on your screen will be reflected in the PDF export. This improvement aims to prevent user confusion and streamline the export process.
Enhanced Email Subject Formatting
To help recipients understand the content of emails from SiteMax more easily, we've been improving them. Now, weโve made changes to the email subject of Submittals. The subject is now formatted like this: Project Number - Project Name - Submittal Name (#Submittal Number). This way, recipients can quickly grasp the content just by reading the email subject.
๐ ๏ธ Bug Fixes ๐ ๏ธ
We fixed the issue where Reports were being cut off when exported to PDF. Now, when users export reports to PDF, they will see all the information without it getting cut off at the page break.
We've identified an issue in the Materials module where users with full permissions (Edit Materials) were unable to set the quantity threshold for a material. They were receiving an error message stating, โYou donโt have permission to perform this actionโ.
We have resolved this issue, and users with the correct permissions should now be able to smoothly set the quantity threshold without encountering any restrictions.

Enhanced Notices in Siteflow Creation and Modification
When you're working on creating or changing a Siteflow, and you add notices, you'll now notice that the suggested notices in the list include both the internal description and the Last Modified date.
This will make it much easier to re-use and maintain the notices you have carefully created in the existing and new SiteFlow you create and distribute on your jobs.
Material Filter in the Time Reports interface
Because SitedMax is able to combine in the same reporting interface labourt and equipment time as well as material log, with our recent material improvement we now bring the power to our reporting interface.
In the Filters section of the Reports tab within the Time Center or Timecards module you'll find a "Material" field among the filters. This allows you to easily sort and report on the specific material-related entries information you need.
Sum Material Quantity in Time Report interface
When you're modifying a report template found in the Reports tab of Time Center or Timecards and you want to include "Material Quantity" we've enhanced the capabilities. Now, you can conveniently sum up the 'Material Quantity' in the report, similar to how you can sum up 'Hours'. This feature makes it easier for you to quickly calculate, summarize and report on the total quantity of materials used on site, especially when there are many materials listed.
This will be displayed in the headers or in your summary reports.
Added a more meaningful error message for Blocked People
Previously, when a user who was blocked tried to access our QR portal like Siteflow, it would just not let you in. To not let anyone guessing, we've added an error message specifically for blocked users attempting to access Siteflow. The error message now says, "Sorry, you do not have access to 'Siteflow Name'. Please ask your Site Manager to provide you with access." This message helps users understand that they're blocked from accessing Siteflow and prevents them from mistaking the issue as a system malfunction.
Use the Team module and filters to find your Archived contact and un-archive it if that was a mistake!
Additionally, if a user signs out of their external portal and try to access Siteflow again, they'll see the following message: "Please scan the Siteflow QR code or use the QR link to access. You may now close the browser." This makes it clear for them to go to the initial page and login again (with their phone number).

Material Workflow Fixes
We've fixed a problem in the Material module related to the Material workflow called Project Inventory. Previously, when users archived project materials in the company Materials section (accessible through Dashboard > Materials), the system also deleted materials in the Project Inventory (accessible through Dashboard > Project > Materials > Project Inventory).
Now, when archiving project materials in company Materials, it won't affect existing materials in the Project Inventory.

Material in Time Center Enhancements
In the Material tab of Time Center and Timecards, following our recent improvements of material tracking, we've added 'Cost Code.' This addition helps users better organise and track expenses associated with specific categories or types of materials. Our Time center allows to include material logs in reports that already show Labour and Equipment entries.
Added Cost Code filter for Project Inventory workflow
In our recent updates, we've added new features to the materials settings, allowing you to customize the system according to your company's requirements and enhance materials management. One notable addition is the Project Inventory feature. We've made enhancements to this feature: if the Project Inventory workflow is enabled, you'll now find a "Cost Code" filter and an export option, improving functionality. These additions aid in organizing data efficiently and make it easier to share material information.
Equipment Module Enhancement
We've enhanced the equipment module's with tags used as filter to provide more options. Now, users can utilize the "Tags" option in filters to easily search, select, and categorize equipment based on specific attributes or characteristics. This improvement makes equipment management easier by aiding in the identification, organization, and retrieval of equipment items with common purposes.
๐ ๏ธ Bug Fixes ๐ ๏ธ
Form Error Fix
We addressed the problem in forms where users encountered an error message ("Please fill out all required fields") when trying to Save or Save and Close a report, even though they had already completed all required fields. This issue has been resolved, ensuring smoother form submission processes.

๐ ๏ธ Bug Fixes ๐ ๏ธ
