Web v3.8.129

📣 New Features and Improvements 📣

Improved Submittal Workflows

We've improved Submittal workflows by automatically incorporating recurring steps when a Submittal requires revision & resubmission. You can now restart the process without the need to manually reconstruct the workflow steps. Our system will automatically include steps for the revision process when someone requests "Revise and Submit".

To configure automatic workflow adjustments for revisions and resubmissions, go to Company Settings > Modules > Submittals.

Under General Settings, toggle the "Enable Alternative Revise & Resubmit Process" to on and the steps will be provided for the revision process!

RFI Drafts for Full Users

Draft RFI is now available for full users! Your trade with view-only access on the module could already create a draft RFI to be approved and submitted by your team. To help keep a clean list of RFI and save the logical sequencing only for valid RFI we introduced Draft RFIs for full users. If you are not fully ready to create the RFI process this will allow you to save the critical data without using an RFI number. This will also improve the ability to collaborate by allowing the internal team to implement a review process before submitting the RFI.

To use this function use the new Save as Draft option.

When the Draft is ready to be Approved and Submitted, simply click the Approve Draft button.

Purchase Order Reports include Qty and Price Columns

Now see the quantities and unit price for items in your Purchase Orders when exporting your reports.

Dashboard > Select a Project > Purchase Orders

Select the purchase order, and choose the "Export Selected" option from the Actions dropdown menu. In your CSV report, you will see the QTY and Unit Price columns

🛠️ Bug Fixes 🛠️

  1. We have fixed the issue where notifications were not being sent for assignees of Tasks created in Projects and Forms.

Web v3.8.128

📣 New Features and Improvements 📣

Equipment Operator Time Center Filter

Locate time entries documented by your Equipment Operators using the new filter. Now, you can view equipment time entries for each Equipment Operator, improving your management of equipment usage time.

Attach Project Documents to In-App Emails

We heard your request to improve our in-app Email feature by adding Project Documents. With this update, you can now easily access and attach project documents to your emails directly within SiteMax. Simply select recipients from the Crew or Contacts already added in SiteMax, and inform the right people instantly!

To utilize this feature, click the +Add Project Documents button, choose files from your project folders, and include them in your email. This new feature provides you with more sharing options and agility, allowing you to share crucial documents with the right individuals while maintaining a centralized workspace.

Note: Permission to the Email feature and Project Documents must be granted to start using this feature.

Project Team Assignments

We’ve brought more visibility with more information added to the Project Team page by adding additional information, including Assigned Date, Assigned By, and Expiry Date (when the scheduler is enabled).

With the Assigned Date and Assigned By fields, you can easily track who assigned someone to the project and when. As for the Expiration Date, it acts as a reminder for dispatch users about the appointment's end date. The Expiration Date is set 5 days after the last day of the appointment. When this date arrives, the user will be automatically removed from the project.

If you wish to retain an assigned user on the project beyond the expiration date, simply click on the three-dot button and select Remove Expiration Date. This will keep the user in the project indefinitely.

Modified By and Modified Date for Report PDFs

We introduced two new fields to Report PDFs for better visibility and compliance management. Know when and by whom the last change for the report was added by choosing to show the “Modified by” and "Modified Date" fields in the form PDF.

Try it out by navigating to Company Settings > Modules > Forms > Form Settings

Here you will find the “Hide Modified By” and "Hide Modified Date" options. This is default to hidden but can be unchecked to have it appear in the Form’s header.

🛠️ Bug Fixes 🛠️

  1. The issue with Required Select fields not highlighting in red has been fixed. Now, when a field is mandatory, it will be visually indicated in red, prompting users to complete it before submitting the form.

Web v3.8.127

📣 New Features and Improvements 📣

NEW Time Center and Timecards Features

In response to your feedback, we’ve enhanced our Time Center and Timecards with new features. These improvements were inspired by users like you!

Calculations for Time Custom Fields

We’ve added the ability to calculate a sum from the numerical custom fields used in your time entries. With this new feature, you can include totals for these custom fields in your Time Reports. For instance, if you want to show the total hours of a custom drive time field per user, create a numerical custom field that captures driving hours in your Time Settings.

Then, include the Custom Field column in your Time Reports by clicking the Show eye icon. Enable the total by clicking the Show Total icon.

Now, run your custom report and it will display the aggregated sum of the specified Custom Field. Use this new feature to gain valuable insights by accessing aggregated data quickly from your reports!

Classification Filters in Grid View

We’ve improved the Project's Timecards Grid View by adding a Classification filter. You can now filter time entries based on your company’s Classifications, such as electricians and other trade types.

Export your filtered Timecards into a report and share a PDF. This feature provides a clear view of each person within each Classification and their related hours worked.

Time Center Report Templates

The Time Center has been improved for easier access to the reports you need. Instead of displaying all reports on one screen, you can now search for specific reports.

This lets you view one report at a time without scrolling through all your report blocks to view what you need!

Office Manager (OM) and Field Manager (FM) in Time Reports

Enhance visibility by identifying the Managers responsible for time entries in your Time Reports. With the updated time reports, you now have two additional columns available: Office Manager (OM) and Field Manager (FM).

These columns display the full names of the OM and FM associated with the project entries. Additionally, you can utilize filter options for both OM and FM fields.

Bulk Edit Materials

As a material user, you can now easily bulk edit materials' UoM, Cost-code, Value, Quantity and Classification. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Navigate to the Materials module at the Company level

  2. Select your Materials

  3. Click on the Actions button and select the Bulk Edit option

  4. Edit the Materials' UoM, Cost-code, Value, Quantity and Classification

  5. Click Save when complete

By using the Bulk Edit feature, you can avoid the tedious process of editing individual material items one by one.

Punch List Notifications

We have improved our Punch List Notifications for a smoother user experience. Now, recipients of Punch List Notifications will receive a single email containing all daily updates related to the assigned punch item.

If a punch item has multiple actions included in the notification settings for recipients, these notifications will be consolidated into a single email. For example, if a punch item has the due date changed, resolution updated, and its values changed at the same time, the recipients will get notified about all these updates in one single email.

Mobile v4.7.10

📣 New Features and Improvements 📣

Cost Code Selection List

We've made it easy to find the Cost Code you need by including both the code and description. Now, you can search for Cost Codes by their codes on mobile!

Sharing Photos Permissions

Adjusted permissions for sharing photos from the mobile Photos module. Users can now easily share photos with the appropriate access level.

🛠️ Bug Fixes 🛠️

  1. We resolved an issue where the “Save and Email” feature in Purchase Orders was not sending emails to users. Now, users with valid email addresses can be added to the Team Member email recipient list for purchase orders (POs).

  2. Previously, users with “View,” “Edit,” and “Create” permissions were unable to delete attachments uploaded by other users. This issue has been fixed, and now users with these permissions can delete attachments as needed.

Web v3.8.126

📣 New Features and Improvements 📣

Purchase Orders Accounting Emails

We've simplified the management of Accounting Emails for your Purchase Orders. Save time by easily adding Accounting Emails to your Purchase Orders for multiple projects or at once. Now, you can add and remove accounting emails at the Company level.

Simply navigate to your Settings > Modules > PO. Here you will find the Accounting Emails section. Add emails to this list by clicking the +Email button.

Use the Add to Projects button to include the listed emails in your projects. Use the Remove from Projects button to eliminate recipients from the accounting emails list. Add accounting emails to the list using the Add Email option.

RFI Drafts for Full Users

Draft RFI is now available for full users! Your trade with view-only access on the module could already create a draft RFI to be approved and submitted by your team. To help keep a clean list of RFI and save the logical sequencing only for valid RFI we introduced "Draft" for full users.

If you are not fully ready to create the RFI process, you can save the critical data without using an RFI number. This will also improve the ability to collaborate by allowing the internal team to implement a review process before submitting the RFI.

Updates for Project Notices

We’ve added new features to our Notices to allow for more functionality and customizability that can be tailored to your workflows.

NEW Media Notices

We're introducing a new way for viewing attachments and media in Day View Notices. With Media Notice Types, you can now create notices that display PDFs, videos, and high-quality images. Users can instantly view critical information by clicking on these attachments from their mobile devices or on the web.

Use Media Notices to share safety content, site documents, and videos so they don't miss a thing for compliance!

Monthly and Weekly Cadences for Notices

Introducing Notices with weekly and monthly schedules. Now you can create notices to appear in Project Day Views for your team either weekly or monthly. This feature allows you to tailor notices to fit your workflows. Keep your team updated on weekly and monthly reports using these new cadences.

To set this up, simply choose a Cadence option and select a Start Date. The notices will be sent to the Day View every week or month starting on the specified date at midnight.

Please note that the cadence feature for notices does not apply to notices in your current QR workflows. If you'd like this functionality in your QR workflows, please reach out to your CSMs about SiteFlow!

+More in Punch List Reports

Click on the +More button within a Punch List Report to see all attachments related to the Punch Item. This allows more room for attachments in your Reports without making the report a large file for recipients.

Linking Drawings to Power Modules

We've made minor adjustments to the names of drawing links in our module. Now users can easily identify drawings and see only the latest available version.

🛠️ Bug Fixes 🛠️

  1. In this release, we fixed the issue where Punch List pins were not appearing in the Drawings they were attached to.

Mobile v4.7.9

📣 New Features and Improvements 📣

Navigating Punch List

Users can now access their Punch Item details from any Punch List tab. To do so, they need to click on the Punch Item name or the details on the far right. This will provide instant access to Punch Item details.

Punch List Attachments

Now users can add Descriptions for Photo Attachments in Punch Items. These Photo descriptions can be accessed when viewing the specific Punch Item.

🛠️ Bug Fixes 🛠️

  1. We've addressed the problem of needing to save the Punch Item after uploading attachments. Now, photos are automatically saved upon upload.

  2. We've resolved the issue of being unable to delete attachments for Punch Items.
