πŸ“£ New Features and Improvements πŸ“£

New Geofence Globe Colors on Mobile

We've introduced the new Geofence Globe colors to the mobile app, making it easier to identify geofence statuses in Mobile Time.

  • Black Globe (no fill): Manual entries (created by or for the user) with no geolocation recorded.

  • Black Globe (filled): Check-in/out entries with no geolocation recorded.

  • Red Globe: Check-in/out entries with geolocation recorded outside the geofence.

  • Green Globe: Check-in/out entries recorded inside the geofence.

To view these icons, go to Timecards or Time Center, select a user, and click on a date with an entry. The icons will be displayed, and you can tap them to see detailed information about the user's check-in/out location or if their location is unavailable.

Web v3.9.10

πŸ“£ New Features and Improvements πŸ“£

NEW Geofence Globe Colors

Admins, project managers, and managers can now easily differentiate geofence statuses with updated Geofence Globe colors on Web Time and Mobile Time:

  • Black Globe (no fill): Manual entries (created by or for the user) with no geolocation recorded.

  • Black Globe (filled): Check-in/out entries with no geolocation recorded.

  • Red Globe: Check-in/out entries with geolocation recorded outside the geofence.

  • Green Globe: Check-in/out entries recorded inside the geofence.

This feature improves visibility, especially on lower-resolution screens, and enhances time entry management.

Autofill Label and Status on Forms

Configure your forms to display Labels or Statuses directly on the form using a form component. This feature leverages the Autofill setting on input components, allowing you to automatically populate a component with the form's Label or Status. These components update dynamically whenever the form is saved, Status changes or a Label is autogenerated.

Here’s how to set this up:

  1. Go to Company Settings > Modules > Forms.

  2. Add an Input Component to your form.

  3. Enable Autofill. If you want to prevent editing of the Label or Status field, you can also enable Read Only.

  4. Choose either Label or Status.

  5. Click Save and Close.

Note: Label and Status must be enabled first. Make sure your form settings are updated.

Additionally, this feature supports auto-incremented Labels, allowing you to generate a unique, sequential label with customizable characters and numbers for each new form. Each time a form is created, the appropriate incremented Label will autogenerate as an input component.

Punch List Status Column

We’ve added support for sorting by the Status column in the Punch List in both ascending and descending order.

Project Number Column

To provide more flexibility in viewing time entries within the Time Center and Timecards module, the Project number has been separated into its own column. This column can be shown or hidden as needed and allows you to sort by Project number independently from the Project name.

RFI Ball in Court

Based on your feedback, we’ve removed the "Ball in Court" field from RFIs. Since all recipients receive the RFI simultaneously and the RFI Manager oversees its entire lifecycle, this field was deemed unnecessary.

Web v3.9.8

πŸ“£ New Features and Improvements πŸ“£

User Association in Projects

The Project β†’ People β†’ Team tab now follows the new project creation pattern, allowing you to select users and assign their titles in a single, cohesive modal. Use filters for users, titles, tags, or crews to streamline team management and ensure an intuitive workflow.

Assigning and Creating Project Cost Codes

Project cost code settings now follow the new project creation pattern for a cohesive and user-friendly experience. Select and assign cost codes and their contexts in a single, streamlined modal with filters for users, titles, tags, or crews. Unique cost codes are grouped in one modal for all contexts.

  • Assign Code: Add existing company cost codes to the project.

  • Add Unique Code: Create project-specific cost codes with ease.

New Company Column in Records Table

Easily sort and filter your records with the newly added Company column in the Records table, making record management more efficient than ever.

Form Builder Select Options

When using the Select component in the Form Builder, you can now choose how items appear on form templates. For example, when selecting cost codes from a dropdown, you can configure reports to show the code only, the name only, or both. This feature is also available for Equipment, Users, Contacts, Materials, and Projects, giving you full control over report details.

Punch List Reports by Trade and Location

Gain deeper insights for punch list management and generate more targeted reports. You can now create reports from the "Punch Item" tab and directly from the Location and Trade tabs.

Navigate to the Location or Trade tabs, select your desired location or trade, click the three-dot action button, and choose Generate Report. You’ll be prompted to include only punch items specific to the selected location or trade for a tailored report.

This added flexibility allows you to generate reports on the fly that are custom to specific filtered locations or trades, making it easier to share only the relevant deficiencies.

Web v3.9.7

Project Creation with NEW Tabbed Modal

Project managers can now save time by assigning tags, users, and cost codes directly within the project creation modal, organized into intuitive, subject-specific tabs for a more efficient setup.

Start by adding a new project. A modal will appear with three tabs:

  • Project: Enter project details.

  • Users: Select and assign users to the project.

  • Cost Codes: Search for and add cost codes to the project.

Click Create Project to finalize the project setup. Then, switch to the Users or Cost Codes tab to begin assignments. Once done, click Update Project to save your changes. Close the modal by clicking the X button.
