Project Day View Notices

Add notices to your project to communicate important information to the project team members.

Permissions

Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.

In order to create Notices and add them to a Project, users will need the Create permissions for Notices


Viewing Day View Notices

Project Day View Notices are a feature that allows you to communicate essential information, such as schedule changes, safety alerts, and quality issues to the project team members. By adding notices to your project, you can effectively convey important updates and keep everyone on the same page.

Notices are created and managed at the Company Level. From the Company Level, you will be able to create Day View Notices that can be distributed across projects for streamlined management.

Note: All Users can view day view notices when assigned to them. Only Full Users can edit and manage notices


Creating Project Day View Notices

Once you have confirmed that you have the required permissions, you can proceed to add Project Day View Notices from the Company Settings. Here's how to do it:

  1. To add a new project notice, navigate to the Company Settings and look for the Modules section. Click on the Notices tab. Here you will find all the Company Notices that can be managed and added to projects. These are broken down into Siteflow notices (used to create Siteflows) and Day View notices for messages that appear in the Project's Day View.

  1. Click on the "+ Create Notice" icon to add a new project notice.

2. Select type of Notice.

3. Select the Priority of Notice.

4. Add to the Layout fields and Save the notice.

5. Pick a Report to attach to the notice.

6. Add Attachments, Videos, or Images.

7. Use the Notice Settings to target specific users and projects, and to add to a Project's QR Workflow.

Here you will be able to add settings for:

  • User Titles - Only show the notices to users you want to communicate to by adding User Titles to the Project Notice

    • Note: User Titles must be added for the Notices to be visible to users

  • Projects - Add the Projects you would like the Notices to appear on the Notice Board for

    • Note: Use the "All Active Projects" option to communicate to Users on all active projects

  • QR Workflow - Select the QR Workflow options

    • Show in QR workflow

    • Required in QR workflow

    • Can be completed multiple times in QR workflow

8. Select Save.


Bulk Editing Notices

To bulk edit your notices, simply select the checkboxes next to the Notice's name. Click on the Actions button, you will see the options Edit or Delete Notices.

Click on Edit to apply the Notices to Projects in bulk.

Either free type the Projects' names or select the All Active Projects option to display Notice in all active projects.


Edit Project Day View Notices

  1. Navigate to the Company Settings and look for the Notice Board section. Click on the Notice's Title to view details and edit.

    Here you will be able to edit:

    • The Type of Notice - Information, Site Bulletin, and Safety Bulletin

    • Layout - add a title, subtitle, text, and notes to convey information to users

    • Report - add a report to your notices for users to easily access from the Notice Board

    • Attachments - any PDFs, images, or spec books you do want your users to miss
