Question:

The time I entered on the timecards changed on the report (ex., I entered 8:00 a.m. for the start time, but the report shows 9:00 a.m.)

Answer:

If you've noticed a change in the time displayed on your timecards, don't worry—it's likely due to the company's time zone settings. Sitemax relies on the registered address of your company to determine the appropriate time zone. Consequently, when you enter a start time in your local time zone, the report will show the time zone associated with the company's registered address.

It's important to understand that this time zone adjustment does not impact the actual duration of your work for the day. It's simply a representation of the time in the company's time zone.

We recommend reaching out to your company's administrators. Inform them about it and seek clarification regarding the time zone differences. Your company's administrators will be able to provide specific guidance.

Remember that even though the report may display the adjusted time, when you open each entry individually, it will show the correct time that you originally entered. This ensures that accurate local time is recorded and preserved for future reference.
