Permissions
Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.
In order to set form permissions for users, users will need Manage permissions for Users
Users have control over the management and permissions of forms. To access the forms permissions you will need to navigate to your Team module
From the Team module, click on the Permissions tab to view the list of your Company Permissions Templates. On the right-hand side of each form, click on the template you wish to edit.
*Clicking on the 3 dots in the permissions template block will allow you to apply it to users, see which users have been assigned the template, or delete the template
A Permission Template is applied to every User Type you define in your Company. For example, your Field Workers may have different permission settings than your Collaborators and Project Managers. The Permission Template will apply to every individual user of that group.
In the Permissions Template, you will find the permissions for Site, Company, Safety, and Equipment Reports. Each Report has its own setting options that can be selected depending on the desired permissions for each User Type.
Unlock(ing) Form(s) gives a user the ability to lock or unlock a form. If a form is locked, the “Save” and “Save & Close” buttons become disabled, preventing further edits/changes.
Allowing a user to View a form gives them the ability to open the PDF URL of the form.
When a user is given the Create permissions, they are allowed to create a new version of the form.
Giving a user Edit permissions gives them the ability to open the fillable form and save edits - unless “lock” permissions are not granted.
When a user can Manage forms they have the ability to add, delete or update the date and “Label” of a form.
“Your system administrator decides on the permissions and access that are given to you. The team can assist in understanding functionalities and behavior but cannot grant access on the system administrator's behalf to individual users.”
