Recording Equipment Time on Mobile with the Labour Workflow

Permissions

Always remember to ensure the correct people have the appropriate permissions to access your company and project data. This can be done per individual or by applying Permission Templates.

In order to record Equipment time, users will need Create permissions for Timecards


When entering Equipment Time, you can select from either the Equipment currently assigned to your specified project or from all Equipment added to your SiteMax account.

Based on your chosen workflow (Labour or Equipment) you can create Equipment Time several different ways


Adding Equipment Time with User's

To add equipment time within the Labour workflow, you can do so by including it with a user's time entry or you can bypass the user's time entry and just record your Equipment Time.

  1. Click the "+ Add" option in your Company or Project's toolbar

  2. Select Time

  3. Click on either Multiple Check In/Out or Multiple Manual Entries

  4. Select the user(s) for whom you wish to add time

  5. Click on the "+" symbol below the users name to add time for that user

  6. Click on the Equipment field within the Time Entry window to bring up your Equipment list

  7. Select your equipment from either the Project Equipment or All Equipment tab

  8. Enter your time and Save.


Adding Equipment Time Alone

To bypass including Equipment Time with a user's time entry, you can do the following:

  1. Select Timecards from your project's sidebar menu

  2. Open the Equipment tab

  3. Click on the 3 dots at the top of the page and select "Multiple Equipment Time"

  4. Click "+ Add Equipment"

  5. Choose between your Project Equipment or All Equipment tabs and select the equipment for which you wish to add time

  6. Click "Add Time"

  7. Enter your time and "Save"
